The People's Agenda 2030.
People's Agenda 2030 is UNGC's flagship civic participation initiative. It brings people's voices, lived experiences and community priorities into the development conversation—helping citizens identify what matters, shape a shared local agenda, organize partnerships and follow through on action aligned with the SDGs. GC Watch supports this work by surfacing community needs, connecting them to development evidence and monitoring responses and progress.

UNGC is non-partisan and non-political. Members take part in public life as individuals, and never use the UNGC name to endorse a candidate or a party.
Questions.
Is UNGC a registered organization?
Yes. UNGC is registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. It is an independent civic network and a non-partisan, non-political organization.
Does UNGC take political positions?
No. UNGC does not support or oppose any candidate, party or government. We encourage members to take part in public life as informed, responsible individuals, in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and we ask them not to use the UNGC name for political campaigning.
How is UNGC governed?
The handbook sets out a Board of Trustees, Executive Leadership, a Council of Nations and a People's Council for grassroots participation. For now, the membership team approves applications, chapters and activities. As the network grows, UNGC intends to bring member consultation, and fair elections for the People's Council, into how it is run.
Is membership free?
Yes. All membership is free for the first year. Renewal is based on points you earn by taking part. Event tickets are paid, with a member discount, unless the event has a sponsor.
Does applying make me a member?
Applying starts the admission process: the membership committee reviews your application, then you complete orientation and induction, where you recite the Global Citizens Pledge. You read it and confirm that you share its values when you apply.
What is the digital ID?
It is your statement of belonging to a community built on one idea: that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights (Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 1). It is a civic membership credential that lets others confirm you are a committed member of UNGC, for use in the network and with partners who welcome it; it is not a travel document.
What does the digital ID show?
Your name, membership category, member ID, status, and a QR code. The QR code opens a public page that shows whether the ID is currently valid. That page never shows your email, phone number, or photo.
Can I print or share my ID?
Yes. Download the ID as an image and print it or keep it on your phone. Anyone who scans the QR code sees the current status, so a revoked or expired ID shows as such.
What is the Global Citizen Passport?
A symbolic recognition of your commitment. It records milestones in your journey, such as leadership courses completed, community initiatives, fellowship programs, and awards.
Who can see my details?
Your email and phone number are used by UNGC only and are never shown to other members. Other members see your name, profession, organization, location, skills and interests.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is cropped to a square and reduced to 320 × 320 pixels on your device before it is saved, which keeps the file small.

UNGC is an independent, non-partisan civic network registered with the Philippine SEC. It is not a United Nations body, a government authority or an auditor. Items on this page say who provided them and how far they were checked.

Gaps you can act on
Each card comes from an indicator in the Sustainable Development Goals framework. Anyone can help: give your time, give resources or expertise, or ask the people who decide. Choose a card to see what you can do.
Signature campaigns
A signature campaign asks a named office or institution to act on a gap, with a clear request and a deadline. We deliver the signatures and publish the response.
Pledges and partnerships
Individuals, companies, foundations, schools, chapters and local governments can pledge to act on a gap. Each published pledge says who carries it out, who funds it, and how it is going. Publishing a pledge is not an endorsement by UNGC.

Partner with UNGC
For companies, foundations, schools and professional groups. Many already run community programs and CSR budgets. GC Watch helps point that effort where the need is.
- Choose a gap. Pick a card that fits your strengths and where you work.
- Make a specific pledge. An amount or target, a date, and who carries it out.
- Deliver it through an implementing partner or a UNGC chapter near the need.
- Report back. Your pledge record shows its status, and you can cite it in your own CSR report.
UNGC offers a reviewed list of gaps, community partners through our chapters, and a public record of your pledge. UNGC does not receive or hold your funds, does not endorse partners, and does not take credit for outcomes. Sponsors never influence which gaps are listed or how items are reviewed.
Our standards
How GC Watch decides what to publish.
What counts as a pledge?
It must be specific (an amount or target and, where possible, a date), name who will carry it out and who funds it, and not already be counted elsewhere. Vague intentions are welcome as conversation, but are not listed as pledges.
How does UNGC review?
UNGC staff check that the pledge is complete, that any link supports it, and that the people involved agreed. We may write to you for details. Review is not independent verification and publication is not an endorsement.
Right of reply
When a pledge or campaign names a public office or institution, we tell them and publish their response or any correction they send.
No pay-to-play
Sponsorship and partnership never influence which gaps are listed or how items are reviewed. Company logos appear only with written permission.
Money
UNGC does not receive or hold pledged funds. Money goes directly to the implementing organization.
Non-partisan and lawful
Campaigns address public offices and institutions, never candidates or parties, and use peaceful, lawful means: letters, assemblies, hearings and signatures. Public rallies need local permits, so check before you plan one.
How signatures are counted
One signature per person, confirmed by email or by signing in as a member. Only confirmed signatures are counted. Names and city or region are shared with the addressee only with your consent, and your first name appears here only if you choose. Unconfirmed signatures are deleted after 30 days. Signing is for adults (18 and over).
Children and personal data
We never publish children's names, photos or home locations, and we never publish anyone's email or phone number.
Corrections
If something is wrong, write to connect@unglobalcitizens.com and we will correct or remove it.

Reports from community correspondents and contributions from organizations and institutions. Everything here was reviewed by UNGC before publication. Review checks completeness, consent and claims. It is not independent verification.

Contribute as an organization or institution

Correspondents are UNGC members, authorized by UNGC, who send in what they have seen and heard in their communities. They are not officials and do not speak for everyone.
